REFLECTION

Throughout this module, my experience working with 28StudioKL as our chosen client gave me valuable exposure to real-world digital and social media communication tasks. From the beginning, I was excited to work with an actual café brand because it gave the assignments more meaning and purpose. We started by researching the brand's identity and crafting a compelling brand story. This step required me to look deeper into the café's personality, values, and customer experience. As the weeks progressed, we developed empathy maps and user personas, created a social media content calendar, and completed the final presentation. One of the more memorable moments was during Week 5 when we received feedback that our planning sheet needed improvement, especially in formatting. Although it felt a bit overwhelming at first, it taught me the importance of clarity and structure in communicating ideas effectively.

Through this project, I observed how essential it is to work collaboratively and remain flexible when handling feedback. I noticed that I tend to be detail-oriented in visuals but sometimes overlook technical formatting, which became clear during the content calendar task. Working within a weekly timeline helped me develop better time management, although I did struggle at times when several tasks overlapped. I also became more aware of how structured communication, such as properly presenting a content strategy, affects how ideas are received by both the client and the audience. The way our work was broken down into stages, from research to implementation, helped me realize how classroom projects can feel very similar to real-life creative industry workflows.

In the end, I learned that communication is not just about presenting information. It also involves listening, responding, and adapting. I found that receiving clear feedback, even when it was critical, helped me improve my work. This experience taught me to pay closer attention to formatting and details while balancing creativity with professionalism. Moving forward, I plan to prepare proper templates early and set up internal reviews before submission to avoid rushed changes. Overall, this project helped build my confidence in managing social media content and allowed me to approach content creation more strategically. Most importantly, I realized that growth happens when I reflect on mistakes and stay open to learning throughout the process.
